A Home for the Handmade Life

Sewing, fiber crafts, and life on a little Mississippi homestead that mostly runs on eggs.

The Maker Behind the Hub

Sewing patterns, a working homestead, and a monthly column, all run by one woman and several bossy hens.

Memphis girl, moved to Biloxi in 2020 with my husband Marshall. We got one chicken coop and a sewing machine, and things escalated from there.

Tutorials, patterns, homestead notes, and the odd recipe worth repeating. If I use it and love it, it ends up here.

A Little Driftwood Sailboat

The kind of coastal decor that doesn't shout "beach house" at you: just driftwood, a scrap of old shirt, and some twine, shaped into a small nostalgic sailboat that looks like it washed up that way.
